Kumon has helped my daughter to succeed and excel in her reading and math. My daughter was behinde in her reading and it was suggested for us to try Kumon. The "Kumon way" is based on consistency and repetition along with one on one learning at the center and with an organized work habit. This made my daughter excel in reading and comprehension. She went from below average to 4 years ahead of her grade level!!! In math, she surpassed her grade level by 2 years. I can not thank enough the great team work from the entire Kumon staff. Sally is exceptional! Her passion for the love of teaching to see every student reach and surpass their potential is priceless. Ever since they were young, both of my kids have attended the Kumon program. Although they took a break for a period of time, they returned around the ages of 12 and 14. Since then, their math grades have improved significantly—from averaging in the 80s to consistently scoring in the high 90s. My youngest, currently in Grade 11, finished the Functions course with a 95%, and my eldest completed Advanced Functions with a 98%. A major reason for their improvement has been Sally’s excellent teaching and the dedicated support from the Kanata South Kumon Centre. The entire team is kind and patient, always taking the time to guide and correct them as they learn more advanced material. Having a great teacher and a supportive learning environment is so important for a child’s growth. Kanata South Kumon Centre has helped my children develop strong study habits and a genuine passion for learning. I highly recommend them! ~ Susie C

I am a parent of three children who have been enrolled at this centre for many years. There is a closer centre, but we chose this one and have no regrets. The instructor is a dedicated and passionate educator. She is a Kumon mom herself, so she is very supportive of the parents and the students. The staff is kind, understanding, knowledgeable, fair and very helpful. Lots of rewards for the kids and acknowledgement of their efforts. Everyone is very welcoming, positive and hard working. We have had a wonderful experience with this Centre. Sally is extremely knowledgeable and very experienced working with children of all ages and skill levels. Her strong desire to help each and every student succeed is quite evident. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. My child enrolled in Sr. Kindergarten for enrichment and is now grade 8. She has completed the reading program (🥳) and is continuing with the Math program. She has gained confidence and is happy to excel in her current schooling. I attended Kanata South Kumon for 5 years and finished the math program.This program helped me get ahead in math at school, too. The classroom environment is very positive and motivates students to work hard and excel in their subjects. All of the staff are so friendly and are always willing to help students with their work. My parents enrolled me in Kumon during middle school, and I completed the math program in Grade 11, a few years ago. The program helped me get ahead of my high school curriculum and gave me a strong foundation in independent learning, discipline, and problem-solving. My son started with Kumon when he was in grade 2 . Now he is in Grade 5. He is doing both English and Math. We can see he is so confident about both subjects. Now My girl started with Math lesson. Kumon is an amazing place for your children to help with Mental Math. It also helps teach them English And Reading. They teach things your kids won’t learn in school. The team is very, very kind and helpful. I highly recommend Kumon, it has helped my children with their math skills, as well as their responsibly and organization. Kumon Kanata Sud a une équipe très accueillante et toujours à l’écoute. Mon garçon prend le cours de maths depuis 2 ans. J’ai observé une progression fulgurante dans ses habilités et surtout habitudes de travail. Le calcul mental et d’excellentes stratégies de calcul des opérations surtout de la division et multiplication avec de grands nombres. La responsable est proactive et conseille de bonnes façons pour atteindre les objectifs et surtout réussir les tests qui ont un grand niveau d’exigence en calcul dans un temps donné.
